LEGAL OFFICER (1 VACANCY)
JOB PURPOSE:
Assisting superiors in providing legal advice on corporate matters, Insurance, employment and labour relations, civil matters, to which the Company is a part or in which it has interest.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Attending and representing company in the areas where it has interest.
b) Filling/making submission and follow up on Company cases in courts of law.
c) Making linitiating drafts legal opinion required in negotiations with various parties.
d) Giving guidance on claims with potential to be subject of litigation by or against the Company.
e) Provide guidance in all of administrative disciplinary cases as directed by the Supervisor.
1) Assisting in advising on compliance matters with Company Regulators. g) Performing other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Law
• Registered Advocate of the High Court
