PROGRAM OFFICER - BEHAVIOR CHANGE

The ROADS project, a three-year project funded by USAID, addresses HIV prevention along the transport corridors of East Africa.
Led by Family Health International (FHI), ROADS aims to reduce HIV transmission, Improve care, ilnd reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS along Tanzania's highways. CCP will be assisting ROADS in strengthening the institutional and technical capacity of implementing partners, as well as HIV and AIDS professionals.
SPECIFICALLY THE PROGRAM OFFICER WILL WORK TO:
• Help design and launch BCC material on HIV/AIDS and related topics to high risk groups
• Train peer educators and health providers to use BCC materials
• Liaise with ROADS in-country team
• Provide technical support on BCC and community outreach
• Help prepare work plans and periodic reports
• Assist in M&E
• Travel as required to ROADS intervention sites through out the country

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• At least five years of experience in BCC and/or community outreach
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, public health or in a related field
• Additional experience in training design and advocacy programs desirable
• Excellent writing, editorial, and communication skills.
Must have strong writing and oral presentation skills
• Excellent command of English
